My Bronco has the standard non-B&O audio system. Will this kit work without upgrading the stock system?
Our Bronco pods are designed to be Plug & Play to the factory system on the Bronco. There are a few things you can do to the system to increase sound quality. Please contact our customer service department at 818-991-1778 and they can go over the diffferent options that are available

Do you need to use Forscan to set these up? or can you just plug them in and instantly have optimal sound? Thanks!
You do not "have" to use FORScan. Many of our customers love the sound just after installing them with the plug & play harnessing. However, other customers are also happier with the sound after the use of it.

How far do the speaker pods protrude from the back of the roll bar? Is it further than the stock speaker pods?
The pod itself (without a speaker installed), protrudes about 1 1/2" from the roll cage toward the front of the vehicle

Can you order the colored front piece (Blue)
Yes. Blue grills can be ordered with the SSV Works speaker option. If there is ever an error in ordering the grills after selecting the SSV speaker option, you can always order them under the "universal audio option" or copy and paste the link below in your web browser:

No, there is no need to remove the hardtop.

Why are these more expensive than the 4-door speaker pods?
The 2 door Bronco pods require special brackets in order to them install them, which are supplied by SSV Works. The 4 Door pods use the brackets from the factory installed speaker pods

What’s the difference between the 2 speakers?
Kicker speakers have a little more clarity at high volume. The SSV speakers are backed by a limited lifetime warranty, while Kicker is only 1 year
