Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

SSV Works is committed to protecting the value of our products, maintaining a strong dealer network, and ensuring consistent brand representation across all sales channels. This Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy ("Policy") applies to all dealers, resellers, and distributors offering SSV Works products for sale to end consumers.

This Policy is unilateral and is not a contract. SSV Works does not seek, nor will it accept, any agreement regarding compliance.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this MAP Policy is to:

  • Preserve the reputation and value of the SSV Works brand
  • Maintain fair competition among authorized sellers
  • Prevent channel conflict and marketplace price erosion
  • Ensure a consistent customer experience across all platforms

2. Minimum Advertised Pricing Requirements

Dealers must not advertise any SSV Works product below the Minimum Advertised Price ("MAP") established by SSV Works.

The following rules apply:

  • Dealers may match SSV Works advertised pricing but may not undercut it
  • MAP applies to all active products unless otherwise approved in writing
  • MAP applies to all public-facing advertisements, including but not limited to:
    • Online marketplaces and e-commerce websites
    • Printed advertisements
    • Email promotions
    • Social media posts
    • Paid search advertising
    • Broadcast or digital media advertising

MAP pricing does not prevent dealers from selling products at any price in store or via direct quote, but advertised prices must comply with policy

3. Marketplace and Amazon Restrictions

To protect brand integrity, ensure consistent customer experience and prevent marketplace conflicts, the following restrictions apply:

  • Dealers may not undercut SSV Works pricing on Amazon or other online marketplaces
  • Dealers may not lower advertised prices for the purpose of obtaining or retaining the Amazon Buy Box
  • Dealers may not create, modify, claim ownership of, or assume control over Amazon listings using SSV Works product date, UPC codes, images or content
  • Only SSV Works is authorized to create, manage, and maintain official amazon listings for SSV Works products
  • Dealers must operate a bona fide retail business that provides direct customer support, installation guidance where applicable, and post-sales service. Businesses whose sales model is primarily dependent on third-part marketplaces and does not meet these criteria may not be eligible for authorized dealer status
  • SSV Works product may not be bundled, co-packaged, rebranded, or advertised under another brand name for the purpose of creating a separate marketplace listing, bypassing MAP requirements, or masking the advertised price. Any representation of SSV Works products must clearly identify the product as an SSV Works item and must not mislead customer in any manner

4. Amazon Fulfillment Restrictions (No FBA)

To protect product integrity, warranty administration, customer experience, and brand control:

  • Authorized dealers may not sell or fulfill SSV Works product using Amazon Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) or any similar third-part fulfillment service that involves inventory commingling, third-party handling, or loss of product traceability
  • All authorized dealer sales of SSV Works products on Amazon must be fulfilled exclusively by the dealer (Fulfilled by Merchant / FBM), using inventory sourced directly from SSV Works or its authorized distributors
  • Dealers may not ship SSV Works products to Amazon fulfillment centers, permit Amazon to take possession of inventory for resales or otherwise enable FBA fulfillment under any circumstance
  • Dealers are solely responsible for ensuring that all FBM sales comply with SSV Works requirements related to:
    • Product condition and packaging
    • Accurate product descriptions and listings
    • Warranty documentation and customer support
    • Compliance with MAP, branding, and marketplace policies

Use of Amazon FBA or similar fulfillment services will be considered a material violation of this Policy, regardless of advertised price compliance. 

5. Bundling and Promotions

Dealers may not use bundle pricing, coupon codes, rebates, loyalty incentives, gift cards, or promotional structures that effectively reduce the advertised price of a SSV Works product below MAP. 

All promotional pricing involving SSV Works products must be pre-approved in writing by SSV Works.

6. Enforcement

SSV Works will enforce this Policy at its sole discretion. Violations may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of open orders
  • Loss of purchasing privileges
  • Removal from the authorized dealer program

Dealers do not have the right to enforce this Policy against other dealers, and SSV Works is under no obligation to provide justification, advanced notice, or engage in discussion regarding enforcement decisions.

7. Policy Administration

This MAP Policy is unilateral and may be modified, suspended, or terminated by SSV Works at any time without prior notice.
